Hey there!

We are Brandon and Melissa Elwell, and we currently live in Lubbock, TX with our two Great Danes and one Dachshund. This is our Website/Blog about Scuba Diving and whatever else may come up along the way. It is still "under construction" and will be expanded upon very soon.

I (Brandon) am in the process of getting the actual Blog going, I have to do the coding for it in PHP first though, which I am still learning how to do. In the meantime I will be getting everything up here in pieces, and will just explain a little more about us and our Scuba Diving experience.

I decided to create a website for the purpose of logging our scuba diving adventures so that we would have a place to share everything with anyone that we might share it all with anyway, and possibly even more from there.

Our first scuba diving experience was on our honeymoon in April of 2010 on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, where we did a Discover Scuba and took a 20-30 minute safety briefing before getting in the water and going through a few skills. We loved it so much and had such a good time that we knew we had to get certified and continue diving.

We didn't actually do anything to get certified until after we got invited on a Scuba Diving trip by our good friend Lance's family to Costa Rica. We then signed up for an Open Water class with our new friends at Southwest Aqua Sports here in Lubbock and at Balmorhea State Park near Pecos, TX in October of 2011. We then took our Advanced Open Water class at Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM in December of 2011.

We also signed up for the Aqua-Dilla Dive Club that is sponsored by Southwest Aqua Sports. It's been a lot of fun so far, and can only get better!

We went on our first actual dive trip to Costa Rica in January of 2012 and had a blast. We both plan on contributing to this website on a regular basis and hope to have plenty of adventures to share.
